St Matthew's Community Hero Awards
Awards will be made every month.
Our community’s strength is the people within it. We know that many people on St Matthew's go above and beyond to support and help the local community, with little to no recognition for this. That’s why we’re launching ‘St Matthew's Community Heroes’, to shine a light on those local heroes who are the backbone of our community. We want to give you the opportunity to nominate a friend, neighbour, local organisation, or someone you know, whom you think deserves to be treated for their hard work and selflessness.
Every month St Matthew's Big Local will review the nominations, to decide who the winner is. For example, this may be someone who has engaged in a community initiative, helped out a neighbour in need, or even just provided a listening ear when somebody needed it the most. We really want to hear your stories and celebrate your successes.
The winner will be awarded a small gift and a certificate to say 'Thank you' for going that extra mile.
We will also post a picture of the winner on our social media channels and website and a small story of why they are our Community Hero.
